I have to say in my eyes this red panda isn’t my best work. Becca Barron Art did a live You Tube session on Wednesday night and I joined it. Well I managed an hour and I couldn’t keep up with her.
I knew it was being recorded so I could carry on with the replay and use the pause button. Oh how I do like the pause button it’s my friend.
Yesterday was not my best day, we all get them don’t we and we just have to get through those days as best we can.
My way was to take my brain away for life and the worries that brings us and focus on my drawing.
There were times when I just wanted to stop and throw the towel in, mainly because how I was feeling but no I carried on and thought what’s the worse that can happen with the drawing. Nothing really.
How I wish I could use that thought in real life.
Anyway here it is my red panda. The only thing I did differently is the black. I don’t have pan pastels and I couldn’t afford to buy any so I used a couple of watercolour pencils in Slate Grey and Chocolate, then on top of that Derwent Drawing black pencil.
