I have really enjoyed drawing this pink tulip today.
I joined in with Laleh Kamalian Art live draw along that she ran on Sunday. I didn’t join in live, but I did watch it live.
I saw another member of Laleh FB group do hers on a different coloured surface and I thought, WOW that looked so impressive than being on plain white.
I took the brave step and had a go myself on an apricot colour pastelmat.
Now tell me what do you think? Do you like the pink tulip on that lovely apricot background.

I really am pleased with my result. I’m starting to feel more confident that I can draw on my own.
I still feel I need guidance to learn more techniques.
